Weddings start at two hundred per person(in the ensemble), for the service, followed by one hundred per person for each additional hour. We are generally flexible and will work with you to fit your budget and vision for your special day. Weddings include planning, special requests of songs(including ordering new music*), collaboration with other musicians at the event and general music advice from our years of experience performing for weddings of all sizes and denominations. *If no music is available, I can arrange the music for the proper ensemble for a reasonable additional fee that is dependent on the complexity of the piece. Here are a few examples of common wedding packages: duo for wedding (includes 30 minute prelude before ceremony) and an hour reception = 600 dollars trio for wedding (includes 30 minute prelude before ceremony) and an hour reception = 900 dollars quartet for wedding (includes 30 minute prelude before ceremony) and an hour reception = 1200 dollars *larger ensembles available* What is the difference between the solo, duo, trio and quartet? The major difference is what some musicians call the depth of sound. In general the string quartet is standard, offering full depth with four independent voices. The trio is a good compromise between the quartet and duo, offering comparable depth with slightly less volume. The duo and solo ensembles are best for intimate weddings and offer a charming, personal sound. Back to Performance Rates Page |
