MM - Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, BM - Florida State University, Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr., School of the Arts High School; West Palm Beach, FL. Currently located in Cincinnati, OH, Michael performs with the Long Bay Symphony in Myrtle Beach, SC along with other orchestras and ensembles, and has been an active orchestral and chamber performer for over a decade. He has played with various orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the USA and the UK including the Moscow Ballet Northeastern US Tour, The Amadeus Orchestra (UK), Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Washington National Cathedral Chamber Orchestra and recently performed at Carnegie Hall with the Carolina Philharmonic. Along with performing, Michael also maintains a private studio, teaching violin and viola and is currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a degree in Chemistry. extended biography Participation in professional recordings include: The Piano Concerto, Double and Triple Concerto, by Ellen Taafe Zwilich Performed by the Kalichstein, Laredo, Robinson Trio and the Florida State University Orchestra, Michael Stern conducting (October 2001), The Kleiberg Requiem, by Stale Kleiberg, with The Choirs of the Washington National Cathedral and the Washington National Cathedral Chamber Orchestra, Michael McCarthy, director.
